Although Houston has yet to play anybody of note, they sure have scored a lot, raking in some impressive yardage as well, 5th in passing and 3rd overall in the nation in total yards. Once again an impressive offensive team will try their luck against Miami's defense.
Holding Louisville to 31 points was no small feat, especially considering that Louisville at one point had a 10-4 time of possession differential, and the defense struggled towards the end only from successive three and outs by the offense.
This is Houston though, not Louisville, so hopefully the offense, throughout these next four games in fact, will be able to find a sort of rhythm and get some touchdowns under its belt.
There really isn't too much question as to who will win this game, with almost no chance of an upset, and in fact Miami is probably on its way to a 5-2 record. That's the key word there though isn't it? Everyone is saying the same thing, probably, even me, because that confidence that Miami will come out and dominate any team, much less a Houston or a Duke, is no longer there. That loss to Louisville is going to end up doing more damage then anyone can imagine.
Look for Miami's defense to be stingy and fired up, try and get the offense clicking, and look for the offense to run the ball again. With 64 total yards, the offense has probably been focusing on a way to establish the run against a real offense.
My final prediction: Miami-55 Houston-6
