So it’s finally time to do my pre fall practices ACC preview. I have to specifically mention fall practices because injuries a reality of any type of training, and offseason activites, and thus far most of the ACC has been lucky. The two exceptions are Mark Herzlich of Boston College, diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, and Nate Irving of NC State who broke his leg in a car accident. There may have been other minor injuries sprinkled here and there, but these two are the only significant losses for ACC teams.

I’ve decided that, since I do tend to ramble on, I would be splitting each teams individual preview into it’s own article, as well as the Division as a whole, and finally the overall conference preview:

Atlantic Division:

• Clemson

• Maryland

• NC State

• Wake Forest

Coastal Division:

• Duke

• Georgia Tech

• Miami

• North Carolina

• Virginia

• Virginia Tech
